Reported Smoke Inside

CFD units and mutual aid were sent to the unit block of Glen St. for a report of smoke inside an apartment building. Units from HQ station arrived shortly after dispatch finding normal conditions from the outside. Crews began to investigate the report from a neighbor stating smoke alarms were sounding and smelled smoke. Crews found no smoke and continued to check the area. Crews ended up locating the sounding alarm from a building down the street. That alarm was found to be malfunctioning and no fire services were needed.
