Gas odor in a residence

| Company 1 units were sent to Pine Street for a report of an odor of gas inside a residence. Asst. Chief 1 (Myers) arrived with both sides of the residence evacuated. Engine 1-2 crew staged at Pine and South St and began their investigation. Remaining Company 1 units arrived and assisted Engine 1-2. No findings of gas were found. The cause of the odor was determined to be a skunk that had got into a crawl space under the residence. Units operated for 20 minutes before clearing the scene. |
