Members of A Shift kept busy Monday handling several auto accidents throughout the day. Engine 1-4 and Ambulance 1-9 responded at 1139 hrs for a minor accident in front of 1151 East Mckinley Street. Crews cleared the road of debris and evaluated one occupant on scene. Almost an hour later Engine 1-1 and A/C 1 handled a non-injury accident at Edgar Ave and College Ave. Crews cleared the roadway of debris and assisted CPD with traffic control. Engine 1-4 and Ambulance 1-9 responded to an accident at the entrance to 1501 Orchard Drive at 1647 hrs. Units arrived finding one vehicle partially down an embankment with an occupant requiring additional assistance. Tower 1 and Engine 1-1 were requested for manpower and equipment. Units operated for an hour on the scene and at the landing zone that was set up for Life Net 8-1. In addition to the day, crews kept busy with 13 EMS calls and completing 7 Commercial business inspections.
