| This morning Captain Martin and DO/FF Albright took Engine 1-1 to have a fire safety talk with Growing Tree preschool. Members discussed fire safety topics with a small group, and conducted a socially distant fire engine tour. The Chambersburg Fire Department strives to help educate our community and prevent fires through various forms of education. Over the past six months the pandemic has made it tough to continue with this mission, but we continue to work on different techniques to get our fire safety message out to our community. Please be on the lookout for some exciting virtual educational sessions that the department is currently working on. |
