House Fire at 558 Nelson St

| Shortly after 6 p.m., CFD was alerted for a possible house fire in the area of 550 Nelson Street. While en route communications advised that a caller confirmed a working basement fire. Engine 1-1 was first to arrive to find a small fire that started on the exterior and extended into the basement. Crews quickly extinguished and completed overhaul limiting the damage to a small area. After around one hour of ventilation and working on the scene, the crews cleared the incident. |
