Machinery Fire at Edge Rubber

| At 3:12 a.m., Engine 1-2, Tower 1, and Ambulance 1-7 were alerted to Edge Rubber, 811 Progress Rd, for a commercial fire alarm. Units went on scene to find a working fire in the conveyor machinery on the inside of the building. Crews quickly upgraded the box and stretched a line. Fire was brought under control within a few minutes and extensive overhaul was done to check for further extension. Crews cleared in around 1.5 hours. |
