CFD responds to thousands of medical emergencies each year. Some of these are extremely critical calls that push crews to do their very best for a good outcome. FF Heckman, FF Knepper,
FF Day, FF Albright, FF Nehf, and FF Warden were presented with the Department of Health's Clinical Save Award. This award is presented for life saving measures on patients that were
both pulseless and breathless upon arrival of EMS. By the time they arrived at the hospital they have regained full functions of their cardiac and respiratory system and after short
recoveries walked out of the hospital on their own will. The officers and members of CFD are extremely proud of these personnel and all that provide professional EMS services
