Afternoon crash on Lincoln Way

Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-8 were sent to the 1100 block of Lincoln Way East for a vehicle accident. En route, Communications advised a transport van into a fuel truck. Asst. Chief 1 arrived confirming dispatch. Crews evaluated the scene and found no fuel was leaking from the truck. Ambulance 1-8 checked on the occupants before clearing. Engine 1-1 controlled fluids from the van and blocked traffic until the arrival of CPD. The scene was turned over to police and Engine 1-1 cleared the scene.
