Medical call turns into Land Rescue

Ambulance 1-8 was sent to the 200 Block of West Washington Street for a medical call. As crews were arriving they were advised that the subject was down an embankment. Both Engines and the Tower were dispatched to assist with removing the patient. Crews arrived and began to assist the Ambulance crew with locating the patient in a tunnel, down an embankment along the water. Crews sent the stork basket down to begin securing the patient while setting up a haul system to assist with extricating the patient. Crews assisted the Ambulance prior to transporting to the hospital.
