CO in an apartment Building

Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 were sent to the 500 block of Lincoln Way East for a CO activation. Enroute, Communications advised the building owner reporting a CO alarm activating in the basement. Units arrived and began to investigate. Crews found 30 PPM of CO in the building. The furnace was secured and crews began to ventilate. A blockage of the flue was found to be the cause of CO build up. Crews turned the scene back over to the building owner.
