| Tower 1 was sent as part of the 1st alarm to 6700 block of McClays Mill Rd for a reported Building Fire. Tower 1 responded immediately with 6 personnel. Company 11 units arrived with fire throughout a 2 story workshop. Tower 1 arrived on scene and staged the apparatus on the main road. The crew proceeded back and were quickly put to work checking an exposure building. Upon completing that task, the Tower crew assisted with fire attack and opening walls. Asst. Chief 1 (Myers) was assigned fire attack and the crew from Tower 1 continued to assist with opening up until placed in service by Command 11(Chief Rine). Tower 1 assisted on scene for 2 1/2 hours. |
