| The Chambersburg Fire Department is responsible for providing emergency medical services, fire suppression, fire prevention, public education and code enforcement
within the Borough. The Borough of Chambersburg Fire Prevention Code outlines the specifics for the Fire Department response to emergencies as directed by the Emergency
Services Chief and duly appointed officers of the Department. In order to exercise authority as necessary and appropriate to protect life and property at any incident
scene, all career personnel were sworn in by Mayor Darren Brown. The Chambersburg Fire Department would like to thank Mayor Brown for his assistance in this endeavor. |
