Smoke Reported at Ventura Foods

| The box alarm was sounded for 1501 Orchard Drive, Ventura Foods, for smoke in the building. Initial reports to dispatch reported a fire in the shipping area. Crews arrived and found an odor but no fire. Upon further investigation, it was determined that a malfunctioning HVAC unit was the cause of the call. Crews cleared in around one hour. |
