Fire at Gates Corporation

| Engines 1-2 and 1-4 were alerted for an outside smoke investigation at 1675 Orchard Drive. Engine 1-4
arrived on scene to find heavy smoke from the dust collector on the east side of the Gates Corporation. The box was upgraded to a machinery fire at the site. Squad crews
checked and found no extension into the building. The dust collector had a check mechanism that contained the fire to the collector. Crews remained on scene for approximately
one hour.
