Engine 1-2 and Ambulance 1-7 were sent to Southgate Mall for a reported vehicle accident. While units were responding they were advised of two vehicles that reportedly struck a pedestrian and the building. Engine 1-2 arrived, confirming dispatch. Ambulance 1-7 arrived and handled patient care. Tower 1 was alerted to assist and upon their arrival checked the building damage. Crews operated for about an hour and 20 minutes and were assisted on scene by Borough Building Code Officials and Fayetteville EMS.
