| Just before midnight, CFD was called to 417 Lincoln Way West for a reported house on fire with occupants possibly still inside. Units arrived to find the fire out after a passerby took quick action and extinguished it. The cause of the fire was a bird's nest on a light that caught fire due to the heat from the fixture and fell down onto a wooden bench on the front porch. Damage was minimal, and crews went in service after around 15 minutes of being on scene. |
