Brush Fire

| With dry conditions throughout the County, many departments were busy handling brush fires today. Engine 1-4 and Engine 1-1 responded to the 1000 Block of South Fifth Street for a report of a Brush Fire. Engine 1-4 arrived finding a 30 ft by 30 ft area in a backyard, close to several buildings. The crew from Engine 1-4 quickly extinguished the fire and placed Engine 1-1 in service. Engine 1-4 remained on scene to wet down the area. |
