House Fire


A box alarm was dispatched just before 5:30 p.m. for a reported house on fire at 497 Lincoln Way East. Engine 1-1 arrived to find mulch and a porch on fire with no extension inside of the apartment building. The fire was quickly contained, and the box was downgraded to CFD and Squad 41. Units cleared within 30 minutes after arrival.
