| CFD and surrounding departments were called to 402 South Main Street for a reported smoke
in the building. Engine 1-4 arrived first to find a 2.5 story, middle of the row apartment with normal conditions from the exterior. Engine 1-1's crew
(Captain Martin) arrived and made entry to find a heavily smoke charged, second floor. Once crews made it to the top of the steps, they found a chair
that was on fire. The chair was quickly removed to the exterior of the building preventing any further damage. Units cleared in under one hour. |
