| At 08:41, St. Thomas Fire Department was alerted to 6311 Lincoln Way West for a reported house on fire. The caller advised that their house was full of smoke and unable to locate any fire. Tower 1 was immediately out the door with a total of six personnel. Crews arrived to find a house charged with smoke and after investigating found unattended food on the stove that was burnt. Tower 1 handled securing the appliance and ventilation. Units remained on the scene for around 25 minutes before being released by Chief 18.
