Company 1 units and mutual aid were alerted to the 1000 block of Wayne Ave for a reported building fire. While units were responding, Franklin County DES advised of smoke coming from a cooler in the store and the building filling up with smoke. Engine 1-2 arrived with normal conditions from the exterior. Engine 17-2 arrived, securing Engine 1-2's supply line. Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 arrived, assisting with the investigation. Crews found an electrical hazard in one of the large coolers and Command 1 held Company 1 and 17. Units operated for just under 30 minutes prior to clearing.
