Appliance Fire

| Company 1 units and mutual aid were sent to the 1400 block of Philadelphia Ave for a report of an appliance on fire in a nursing home. Asst. Chief 1 arrived immediately after dispatch to find a 4 story nursing facility with normal conditions and the building being evacuated. Initial crews found a dishwasher that had malfunctioned, with no fire. Asst. Chief 1 held Company 1 units for investigation and returned the remainder. |
