| CFD was alerted at 10:22 a.m. to Hampton Inn, a New Franklin Fire Department first due box area,
for smoke inside the building. Engine 1-1, Engine 1-4, Duty 1, and Chief 1 were first arriving to find smoke on the second and third floors. Engine 1-1's crew advanced
the high rise line and investigated to find a burnt up HVAC motor on the roof. No extension was found and Command 17 (Duty 1) held it to Company 1, 17, and Truck 42.
Ventilation was done, and the power to the unit was secured. Crews cleared around 11:00 am |
