Smoke Inside a Home on Liberty St

| The box for smoke inside a residence was dispatched at 4:36 a.m. to 377 East Liberty sending CFD and surrounding units. Engine 1-4 was the first to arrive to find a two story over/under duplex with normal conditions outside. Engine 1-1 and Truck 42 crews arrived to find a heavily smoke charged residence on the first floor. The investigation revealed the smoke was from burnt food on the stove. Chief 1 held Company 1 and Truck 42 while they cleared the smoke. All units cleared at 5:03 a.m. |
