| Company 1 and mutual aid were sent to the 900 block of Stouffer Ave for a reported House Fire. First arriving units found smoke and fire from the porch area of an upstairs apartment. Chief 1 assumed Command 1 while initial lines were stretched to contain the fire. The fire on the porch was quickly extinguished and began checking for extension. The attic space had some extension so an extensive overhaul of the apartment was needed to ensure no additional fire. Company 1 units worked in the extreme heat for over 2 hours before going available. |
