At 8:42 a.m., the communications center dispatched CFD and surrounding units to 266 Philadelphia Avenue for a reported house fire. Engine 1-1 arrived to find normal conditions on the front side of a multi-family apartment building. As initial crews were advancing a line and completing a 360, they met the tenant of the apartment that was on fire and confirmed a working fire on the second floor in the kitchen. Crews put a quick knock on the fire and kept it in check to apartment 3. The remainder of the time was spent in overhaul and salvage. Command (Captain 1-3) released units at 10:52 a.m.
