3rd Street House Fire

CFD units, along with mutual aid, were sent to the 100 of North Third St for a reported house fire. Engine 1-1 arrived in the area, not about to locate that address and having no fire noticeable from any residences. As Franklin County 911 was attempting to make a call back, Engine 1-2 found the fire in the 100 block of South Third Street, reporting fire from a second floor window. Units on North Third Street redirected and arrived shortly after. Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly with it mostly being around a window on the 2nd floor. Crews operated for a short time until placed in service by Chief 1.
