CFD assists with Sawmill Fire

Tower 1 was sent as part of the second alarm assignment to Metal Township, 4900 block of Path Valley Rd, for a sawmill fire. Shortly after, Engine 1-2 was sent to fill the assignment for apparatus that failed to respond. Tower 1 arrived and was positioned to assist with attacking the fire in the warehouse area of the building. Engine 1-2 arrived and staged for a short time until placed in service by Command 21. Tower 1 remained on scene for several hours and assisted with bringing the fire under control.
