Engine 1-1 was sent as part of the 1st alarm for a reported House Fire in Fayetteville (Co. 7) 1st due. While units were still enroute Communications advised of a possible Chimney Fire. Engine 1-1 arrived as the 2nd due Engine and Command 7 assigned them to check the chimney from the roof. Engine 1-1 operated for over an hour before being placed in service by command.
