CFD Assists with Medical Evacuation

| A late afternoon call sent Engine 1-4 to Andrew Buchanan Elementary for a landing zone for STAT MedEvac 13. Originally, STAT was to land at the hospital, but Life Lion was already on the helipad there. This motor vehicle accident patient needed an urgent transport to a trauma center, so the helicopter was diverted to the alternate zone. |
