| Tower 1 and Ambulance 1-8 were alerted to the 4000 block of Racetrack Road in St. Thomas Twp as part of the 1st alarm for a garage fire. Company 18 units arrived with a fire in the garage. Tower 1 arrived with a crew of 5 and assigned to check the rear of the garage for extension. Tower 1 crew found a severed power line going into the building with a small brush fire. Tower 1 crew knocked down most of the fire to the rear while Company 18's crew wet the area down. Ambulance 1-8 arrived and staged down the lane. Both units operated for about an hour before going in service. |
