ES Chief Howard Leonhard Retires

| Chief Howard “Butch” Leonhard retired January 19, 2018 after forty years in the fire service. Chief Leonhard is also a veteran of both the United States Navy and the United States Air Force Reserve. The Department witnessed many advancements, new fire apparatus, and significant staff changes under Chief Leonhard’s leadership. |
| Mission BBQ honored Chief Leonhard, joined by his staff, with a catered meal at Headquarters. The Borough, colleagues, family and friends chose to recognize Chief’s accomplishments at City Hall on his last day of employment. Butch and his wife, Marcia, retired at the same time to travel the United States and Canada in their motor home. CFD wishes Chief Leonhard a healthy and happy retirement. |
