| The newest ambulance to the CFD fleet went into service, Tuesday January 17th. The 2022 Ford F550/Horton Type 1 Ambulance arrived in Chambersburg the week before and was prepared and licensed, ready to protect the Chambersburg community today. This Ambulance, almost identical to our 2020 Ford Ambulance, will provide increased safety features for the crews operating it, as well as the patients that will ride in it. We would like to thank the Chambersburg Borough Council, Borough Manager and other Borough staff that have assisting in making this purchase possible and to better protect those that live and visit the Borough.
