Afternoon Vehicle Fire

| Both CFD Engine's were out the door this afternoon for a reported vehicle fire on Stouffer Ave. Engine 1-2 arrived in the area and found the vehicle with no smoke or flames visible. Crews investigated and found no active fire. It was determined that a malfunctioning electrical component was failing and catching fire. Fortunately the occupant disconnected the battery and save any further damage. Crews assisted the vehicle owner with locating the issue before returning to service. |
