| Chambersburg units were sent shortly after 4 for an investigation of smoke in a dormitory at Wilson College. Asst. Chief 1 arrived with normal conditions from the exterior and maintenance reporting a smoke condition in the basement. Crews had an odor of electrical on the first floor and a haze in the basement. After a quick investigation, crews determined it to be a burnt up motor for a condensation pump. Power was secured to the unit and the building was ventilated. Chambersburg units operated for 30 minutes before Command 1 (Chief Ulrich) placed the box in service |
