Crews handle vehicle fire

Both CFD Engine's were alerted to the 200 block of Apple Blossom Way for a vehicle fire. En route, Communications advised of a call reporting fire from the engine compartment. Asst. Chief 1 arrived confirming dispatch with both Engine 1-1 and Engine 1-2 just behind. The crew from Engine 1-1 deployed the bumper line and began fire attack second after arrival. Crews were able to bring the fire under control within minutes, while deploying booms at a nearby storm drain to contain runoff. Crews operated for a little over 30 minutes before clearing. While on scene of this incident, Engine 1-2 cleared and responded to the 900 block of Wayne Ave for a vehicle fire. The Engine arrived before dispatch, finding a vehicle that had a mechanical issue but no fire.
