Lincoln Way disruption after multiple wires down

Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-8 were dispatched to the 100 block of Lincoln Way West for wires down. Crew arrived during dispatch to find several utility wires down after a commercial truck still had a boom deployed while driving. Borough Electric, Xfinity, and Brightspeed were all requested to the scene to evaluate the scene. CFD crews and multiple Fire Police agencies kept the area blocked off and stood by while the utility crews operated. The Borough Building Code Official was requested to the scene as well due to some properties not being able to have power restored immediately. Crews operated for almost 2 1/2 hours before clearing and opening the roadway up.
