Smoke inside

CFD units and mutual aid were sent to the uni-block of Kelhigh Dr for smoke in a residence. En route, crews were advised of burnt food that melted the floor and pan with a smoke condition throughout. Engine 1-2 arrived on scene with normal conditions from the outside. Engine 1-1 arrived and the crew stretched a crosslay to the front door. Crews located a heavy smoke condition on the inside from burnt food. Crews found no extension and began to ventilate. The assignment was held to CFD units only for a short time. Command 1 (Asst. Chief 1) placed units in service after about 30 minutes of operating.
