| HQ station units were sent to the 200 block of Walker Road for a fire alarm in a hotel. While enroute, Franklin County 911 advised a call from the hotel now reporting smoke in the laundry room, which upgraded the assignment to Engine 1-2 and mutual aid units. Units arrived with normal conditions from the outside and Captain 1-4 found smoke in the laundry room and gym. CFD units investigated the source of smoke while Squad 41 completed a search of the hotel to ensure occupants were out. The source of the smoke was found to be a burned up belt on a washing machine. Command 1 (Chief Ulrich) held the assignment to Company 1 for ventilation and returned all other units.
