| Engine 1-2 and MICU 103 were alerted to the 1000 block of Wayne Ave for a report pedestrian struck. Engine 1-2, Chief 1 and Asst. Chief 1 was responding and Franklin County 911 advised of 2 people being struck in the roadway. Chief 1 requested additional resources. Engine 1-2 arrived on scene confirming dispatch and beginning patient care. Tower 1 was alerted to assist on the scene with equipment and traffic control, while Engine 1-1 was requested to the World Harvest Outreach parking lot to set up a landing zone for LifeNet 8-1 and WellFlight 2-8. Crews on scene assisted EMS units from Penn State Health and Marion EMS treating and packaging the patients. Crews stood by until CPD completed their investigation and the roadway was opened up.
