2nd Alarm House Fire

Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 were sent to the 3000 block of Mercersburg Road as part of the 2nd alarm assignment. Units from Company 9 had arrived with a well advanced fire, prompting the need for additional units. Tower 1 arrived and was positioned on Side A. Crews utilized their master stream device to assist with bringing the fire under control. Tower 1 assisted with extinguishing hot spots and opening up on the upper floor. Crews operated for about 3 hours before clearing.
