Oven Fire at 1520 Philadelphia Ave


A box alarm struck before 5:00 p.m. for a reported appliance fire inside a residence. Engine 1-1 arrived at 1520 Philadelphia Avenue to find smoldering plastic inside an oven that was accidentally turned on. Command held Co. 1 and Squad 41 for ventilation. Crews cleared in around fifteen minutes.
