CFD assist with building fire

Company 1 units were alerted to the 1000 block of Garber Road for a reported barn fire. Engine 1-2 arrived first, reporting a large building with smoke from all sides. Engine 1-2 crew stretched a line and handled fire attack. Tower 1 arrived shortly behind them and assisted with accessing the building and opening up hidden areas of fire. Engine 1-1 arrived and their crew advanced a back up line, while the Engine staged and prepared to utilize a yard hydrant at the facility. Crews were able to quickly bring the fire under control and began to overhaul the storage area. Tower 1 crew coordinated ventilation for the large building as well, until Command 17 placed all units in service.
