Smoke Reported at ManorCare Health Services

| At 8:23 in the morning, a box alarm was struck to 1070 Stouffer Avenue for smoke in the building. Company 1 arrived to find an odor of something burning in the "C" wing. After an exhaustive search, the smell was found coming from a roof replacement job where the contractors melted through the insulation. Chief 1 held the box with Company 1 only, and crews remained on scene for around 20 minutes wrapping up. |
