Engine 1-1 and Truck 42 were sent for a fire alarm to the Chambersburg Hospital. Conditions enroute were an alarm as well as a call from the building stating an alarm in the 3rd Floor break room. Units arrived with normal conditions. Captain 1-2 was advised by Security of a possible small fire in the break room on 3 West. Asst. Chief 1 arrived on scene assuming Command 1. Truck 42 laddered the building if needed. Captain 1-2 confirmed a small fire in a toaster that was out and a smoke condition in the break room. Truck 42 was released from the scene and Company 1 units worked with maintenance for smoke removal. The scene was turned over to Hospital maintenance and Company 1 units cleared the scene.
