The members of the Chambersburg Fire Dept would like to thank everyone that has stopped by over the last couple weeks, that have dropped off cookies, donuts and other goodies. We truly appreciate everyone who thinks of us during the holidays and provide goodies for the members to enjoy as they continue to protect those that live, work or visit Chambersburg.

We would also like to take this time to wish everyone Happy Holidays and remember that through these holidays to not take a break on fire safety. Make sure your live trees are watered regularly, if using candles make sure they are monitored at all times, don't overload electrical outlets with decorations and make sure you monitor any new toys as they charge so they do not overheat.

As we spend time at home and with family, remember to check your smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide detectors. If you live in the Borough of Chambersburg and do not have any, feel free to call HQ Station at 717-263-5872 and we can come out and install them for you free of charge.
