Kerosene Fire at 240 North Sixth St


Units from Company 1 responded to 240 North Sixth Street for smoke coming from an apartment building. Assistant Chief 1 found a kerosene heater on fire in the basement workshop. The fire was extinguished, and the building was well ventilated. Crews found no carbon monoxide in the building. CFD units were on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
