Third St. House Fire

CFD units and mutual aid were sent to the 100 block of S. Third St for a reported house fire. En route, Communications advised calls reporting fire from the back of a house. Units arrived in the area, finding smoke but no visible fire. Chief 1 located a fire that had been extinguished prior to arrival. Crews from Company 1 and Station 4 checked the area and overhauled it to ensure no extension. No extension was found and after operating for a short period, Chief 1 placed all units in service.
