CFD handles vehicle accident on Wayne

CFD units were sent to the 100 block of Wayne Ave for a vehicle accident with reported entrapment. Communications began to receive multiple calls that reported a vehicle that struck a tractor trailer. Engine 1-2 arrived on scene and found the operator of the vehicle was already out. Ambulance 1-8 arrived and began patient care. Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 arrived providing traffic control and assisting with debris clean up. Crews operated for an hour and 15 minutes before Chief 1 cleared the scene.
