Multiple vehicle accident

Just after units cleared from Norland Ave, Communications sent Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-9 to the 1100 block of Lincoln Way East for a vehicle accident. En route, units were advised of multiple vehicles involved. Ambulance 2-8 (Waynesboro EMS) was clearing from Chambersburg Hospital and arrived on scene with 5 vehicles involved. Company 1 units arrived and began assessing all vehicles for injuries. Ambulance 1-9 handled patient care and transport for one of the occupants. Ambulance 2-8 handled a patient refusal. Crews remained on scene redirecting traffic until the roadway was opened back up.
